DEKRA Media presents product portfolio at the transport logistic 2015

From 5 to 8 of May 2015, the transport logistic opens its doors in Munich for an international audience. More than 2,000 exhibitors from 62 countries present their latest products, solutions and innovations at the world trade fair for logistics, mobility, IT and supply chain management. Also on site: DEKRA Media with a large portfolio of teaching and learning materials in digital and printed form.

For more than 20 years, the media and publishing house has been developing media-based solutions in the areas of corporate communications, training and education as well as knowledge management for customers. These include books, training presentations and computer- and internet-based learning scenarios. To get further information about the wide choice of products, anyone interested can visit the booth of DEKRA Academy (exhibition hall 5, stand 204). The portfolio includes for example the online training portal DEKRA Safety Web or the EU professional driver training, which is prescribed by the Professional Driver Qualification Act.
Annual instructions in labor protection and occupational safety are horrifying for many companies: expensive seminars with compulsory attendance and high costs for board and lodging – only to have half the staff away on business or unable to attend due to scheduling overlaps. DEKRA Safety Web offers a modern e-learning solution that allows maximum flexibility and improved learning effects at a reasonable price. The topics range from the "General Vehicle Instruction Utility Vehicle" and "Driving Times and Rest Periods" to "Fatigue at the Wheel".
Not only are transport companies obliged to instruct their employees on a regular basis – they also must ensure that their drivers have the key number 95 registered in their license, which allows them to drive for commercial purposes. This requires a training, which is prescribed by the Professional Driver Qualification Act. Truck and omnibus drivers have to repeat it at intervals of five years. Therefore, the textbooks, designed by DEKRA Media, correspond to the prevailing legal norms and meet the legal requirements. In terms of language and structure they are geared to the target audience.
In addition to customized texts this also includes the use of info-graphics and pictures from everyday working life. The content is regularly updated. In addition, the material includes useful tips and further information that provide added value even for experienced professional drivers.
Since people learn in different ways, DEKRA Media use a combination of different teaching and learning methods to enable a particularly efficient access to knowledge. And for all versions the following applies: Each teaching method is characterized by high didactic and content quality.
